Bad credit car leasing is the subject of many enquiries and discussions regarding vehicle hire.

If you struggle with a poor credit rating or a lack of credit history, our guide has all of the answers you need to get behind the van or car you seek.

Can you lease a car with bad credit?

The question on everybody’s lips: can you lease a car with bad credit? The good news is that it is possible. You can, of course, lease a brand new car if you have a poor credit rating.

So, why do so many people ask this question? Because most of the time, the big-name manufacturers and automakers will refuse to lease a vehicle to those of you in with a red score.

However, the more flexible, independent vehicle suppliers such as ourselves, are able to tailor solutions more specifically to your financial situation.

What credit score do you need to lease a car?

The truth is, there is no official margin for credit scores and leasing. We take into account a range of aspects and treat each case individually and specifically to the customer.

We don’t believe in overcomplicating things or handling every enquiry with the same responses. At the end of the day, our aim is to get you and/or your business on the roads in the most straightforward, friendly and hassle-free process possible.

At Just Vehicle Solutions, you will be able to speak to one of our expert team, who will advise you based on your specific circumstances, whether that’s based on your credit rating, business or personal preferences.

How to lease a car with poor credit

While we cannot guarantee that you will be able to lease a car with bad credit, you are usually more likely to do so from us than from the big-names.

This is because our credit checks, while authorised and regulated, are independent, and are therefore more of a discussion than simply a flat-out refusal.

To make the first steps towards making the most of our wide range of lease deals, we recommend the following process:

  1. Give us a call and let us know your requirements and any questions you have.
  2. Our leasing experts will then assess what type of vehicle you’re looking for, before making specific recommendations in regards to models and brands.
  3. Once you’ve picked the perfect car or van, we’ll look for quotes and send them over to you.
  4. Next up, is our independent, in-house credit check. If you know your credit rating is low, we suggest discussing this with our experts in that first call. We can then take this into account when looking for finance agreements and car finance deals.
  5. Once our credit checks have been completed, you can order your new car leasing deal.

Bad Credit Van Leasing

If you are a start-up with a lack of credit history, or an individual who has been turned down by a big-name manufacturer, fear not. This may not actually prevent you from being able to lease a van.

We actually specialise in getting start-ups and small businesses on the road, and have plenty of van lease deals to suit your requirements.

The timeline for hiring vans is very similar to cars, and the same process as mentioned above applies.
