Just Vehicle Solutions are proud to be climate positive through Ecologi, a platform for climate action. We’ve held our membership for 7 months now, and in that time Ecologi have used our membership fees to fund various projects.
We have officially been awarded our badge to certify that 500 trees have been plated on our behalf (628 to be exact at the time of writing this blog!).
In total, we have offset 43.26 tonnes of CO2e, which is the equivalent to one of the following:
- 33 long haul flights
- 130 metres squared of sea ice saved
- 107,328 miles driven in a car
Projects that we have been involved in include:
- Improving the Efficiency of Metro Transport in India
- Generating clean electricity from hydropower in India
- Producing electricity from wind power in Northeast Thailand
- Wind power generation in Bac Lieu Province, Vietnam
- Preserving Amazonian rainforest in Brazil
- Solar power generation in Tamil Nadu and Telangana, India
- Using waste biomass to produce electricity in Chile
- Small scale onshore wind in India
- Protecting lowland peat forest in Indonesia
- Producing renewable wind energy in Bulgaria
